Mark Teixeira gives back to the community in a big way through Harlem RBI. The non-profit and the Yankee’s First Baseman have teamed up to bring baseball and much needed economic support to the kids of the Bronx. Mr. Teixeira donates time and provides financial support to the organization, and Harlem RBI setup a fundraiser to accomplish the rest. In order to complete the project, they tapped NYC based MGX Lab, a team we’ve worked with on award-winning projects in the past.
For the Donation component of the project, we integrated the website with eTappestry and their customized donation engine. The campaign has been a success with many contributions taken daily. And, Mr. Teixeira does a great job promoting the site on Twitter (@teixeiramark25) and Facebook.
By incorporating the latest OpenGraph technology into the site, sharing content was easy. And, since quite a bit of sharing happens on mobile devices, we implemented a version of the site optimized for iPhone and Android. Visit with your phone today.
